Mark 5:22-23

Jairus, an official of the local synagogue, arrived, and when he saw Jesus, he threw himself down at his feet 23 and begged him earnestly, “My little daughter is very sick. Please come and place your hands on her, so that she will get well and live!”

 

God works through individuals, He works through churches but let's not forget that He works through families. Whether you come from a family of faith or not of your brothers are believers, praying for your family is powerful. Jarius came to Jesus and pleaded with him to heal his 12-year daughter who was gravely ill. If we, like Jarius fall at the feet of Jesus, we can find healing words and healing hands.
